More Baby Boy! Salem, OR Newborn Photographer

Remember last week’s adorable baby boy?  Since he was so intent on eating and staying awake during our four hour session I didn’t get as many photos as I needed.  Luckily he lives literally around the corner from my house so I was able to hop over for a quick session this afternoon and we hit the jackpot!  He was the perfect model for me this time and we got a lot more images in less than half the time.

And Baby Makes Five! Dallas, OR Newborn Photographer

Last month I had the pleasure of doing maternity photos for this little guy’s beautiful mama.  He arrived on the scene last week, and I was able to spend a few hours with him at six days old for his newborn session.  He was pretty intent on nursing most of the morning and wasn’t super sleepy, but with enough patience we were able to capture some cute poses.  Congratulations R Family, he’s a keeper for sure!

Baby Boy Joy: Monmouth, Oregon Baby Photographer

While the rest of the world was getting ready for the Super Bowl I had the pleasure of meeting this little guy and his parents for a photo session in their home in Monmouth.  He is exactly what I was looking for in my Baby Boy Casting Call this month and is absolutely adorable!  He was giving us a run for our money to get him to crack a smile but I managed to get a few with Mom and Dad’s help.  Thanks for the fun afternoon and an excuse to avoid half the football game!

If you live in the area and happen to have an adorable 6-10 month old baby boy and would love a chance for a free photo session and 8×10 shoot me an email!  Offer ends Feb. 28th

Sweet Valentines Session: Dallas, OR Childrens Photographer

I took advantage of a pretty afternoon last week to take my kids’ Valentines pictures in the field behind my house. I adore taking photos in the late afternoon sunshine, the glow is unbeatable! My daughter was thrilled to wear her pink boots again and readily agreed to wear not just one but three pettiskirts. That’s right, she’s wearing purple, red, and silver skirts! My son was a little less enthused about his adorable polka dot tie and I was shocked he has already outgrown the white dress shirt I bought for him to wear for Christmas. It fit a month ago!

If you’re interested in knowing where I scored my kids’ clothes for this shoot scroll down to the bottom of this post where I’ll share my favorite kids’ clothing sources!

And just because I think it’s hilarious, my favorite outtake. Smile!

Grace’s wardrobe:
All three skirts came from Baby Gap in the last year or so, as did the striped tights
Love shirt came from Target and is still available
Pink Boots came from Reruns in Salem

Ethan’s wardrobe:
White dress up shirt came from Value Village (found brand new with tags still attached for $3.99!)
Red and White polka dot tie is from the Etsy store Petite Peanut
Jeans are from Baby Gap

Rockstar Princess: Dallas, OR Child Photographer

I love to shop the local kids consignment shops and was totally excited to score these fringe pink boots for $4.50 a week or two ago! We already owned the Rock Star outfit that they match so it was only a matter of time before I took Gracie out for a fun photo session. Believe it or not these images are all shot in Dallas, Oregon which proves that I can find interesting backgrounds for photo sessions just about anywhere. I really love this new location I found, it’s perfect for kids!
