It’s that time of year again, time to run out to the store to buy a fresh batch of school supplies and school clothes. I actually love the Back to School time of the year, it always feels like a fresh start no matter how old you are. This year my daughter is going into second grade and so we spent a few minutes in front of her school a few days before school started to get a few nice photos and avoid the crowd. We pulled a bunch of old books off our bookshelves (am I the only one that loves the smell of old books?), ran to Safeway to buy three pretty red apples, and got creative. Here are my favorites that capture my sweet seven year old in all her second grade glory, gap-toothed smile and all!
