THE BLOG

A Personal Photo Project: May 15- May 28, 2015 Project 365

may15

May 15: Dexter playing in a ginormous box from Amazon that contained toilet paper, jello pudding, fruit snacks, coffee, and some cat littler box filters.

May 16: A macro of the aloe vera plant in my kitchen window

may17

May 17: Grace carved this lino block into a self portrait at her art class.  We gave the framed print to Oma of her birthday but I will have her make me another one since we still have her lino block and I happen to have all the supplies for lino block printing.  Might have to do some more this summer!

May 18: I miss taking photos outdoors, my poor camera bag and I need some action!

may19

May 19: A stack of comic books, both our kids have a subscription.

may20

May 20: I miss driving!

may21

May 21: Dexter all curled up and smooshing the couch cushions down.

may22

May 22: Friday night fun at our house!  Dexter and I half asleep in the recliner watching the kids play Minecraft together while David hosts DnD in the kitchen.

may23

May 23: All four of us went swimming today which wore us all out.  David napped and Ethan spent two hours doing math online for fun.  Too bad I can’t get Grace to think working on math online is fun too!

may24

May 24: Dexter napping on my lap again. He’s going to really miss this when I get to be more mobile soon!

may25

May 25: Ethan golfed 9 holes with Daddy this morning and came home pretty tired from all the walking. He fell asleep for a few hours on the couch and Dexter curled up right with him.  We had to wake him up for dinner!

may26

May 26: Today is the day!  My physical therapist guided me through my first steps and adjusted my crutches so I can start bearing a small amount of weight on my bad foot.  Now I get to add walking to my agenda everyday!

may27May 27: Practicing walking with my walker, doing laps through the house while slowly working on adding more weight to my bad foot.  Excited to be upright more often!

may28May 28: I unloaded and put away the clean dishes in the dishwasher AND put the dirty breakfast dishes away.  So good to be useful again!
