When Michael’s Mom asked if I could incorporate a navy shawl her husband had knitted into Michael’s newborn session I was MORE than happy to oblige. I knit quite a few of my own props and love that we could use something they made as well! Michael was a good sleeper for me until he woke up to eat about halfway through his session. Once he was awake he was fine as long as I had him in a good swaddle. He did throw me some pretty funny looks, but catching funny faces is one of my favorite things to do during newborn sessions!
