Welcome! I am a family photographer who specializes in on location family portrait sessions. My photography studio is based out of Salem, OR but I am happy to travel up to 60 miles which includes the greater Portland area (Wilsonville, Lake Oswego, Newberg, McMinnville, Sherwood etc). Occasionally I will also do sessions on the Oregon Coast or in Bend. I have a list of outdoor locations in the Salem and Wilsonville areas I can share when we plan your photo session. If you have a location in mind already that works too!
Over the years I have photographed families in every size and variety and love to celebrate each and every one! I always enjoy meeting a new family and capturing their relationships with each other. Family is all about relationships and capturing who you are collectively is a lot of what I do. With eight years of business under my belt I’ve worked with more than a handful of toddlers and young children. As a result I have many tricks up my sleeve to help us get the best photos possible.
Family photos are meant to show how your family evolves over time. Your family is never the same year after year, and yearly photos are a time to celebrate and acknowledge that fact. Tiny toddlers turn into precocious preschoolers who turn into gap toothed grade schoolers who turn into moody adolescents. Capture the memories, you won’t regret it!
I am more than happy to photograph your extended family! In fact booking a session all together can be a great way to update everyone’s photos at once while adding in a few photos of the grandparents with the grandkids, siblings, the entire clan, or whatever combination you can come up with. I know that it can seem like a huge undertaking to find a date and time that everyone is available but it’s always worth it.
